Planting Hickory in Mount Royal, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

On Monday, June 10, 2013, three students from Asakura High School and 9 OISCA members of Asakura Branch in Fukuoka Prefecture, Kyushu, planted a Hickory tree in the famous Mount Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This activity was all thanks to the L'Oreal environmental program for providing the Hickory sappling and Friends of the Mountain (les amis de la montagne) for providing a beautiful area surrounding by Maple trees.

Tree planting projects are never finished. Even though countries like Canada and America may be full of forests, trees and natural vegetation, our efforts to sustain these natural areas are very important for the future of our Mother Earth.

Keep planting, keep growing and keep protecting, eh!
