Children’s Forest Program under the Corona Pandemic 4

 While taking infection prevention measures, at 10 schools and temples in Kampong Cham Province and Thoung Khmun Province, we carried out tree planting 1,500 seedlings from May through August 2020 and at the same time, distributed disinfectant solution and enlightenment brochure to prevent infection.

   Thanks to these measures, face-to-face classes were resumed without any infected person, and children’s laughter is back to school.

 India, the world second-most Corona infected country, has suffered severe lockdowns, and most schools are still closed in the areas of operations. We have held online meetings with each school on what kind of CFP activities can be carried out in the Corona epidemic, and we promoted and supported tree planting at home. Also, we donated disinfectants and handmade masks to financially distressed schools.
